The Catholic-Christian Secular Forum (CSF) has expressed their reservations against AR Rahman’s song Hosanna in Ekk Deewana Tha, a remake of Tamil hit Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya.
The forum wants the song withdrawn and warns that it will launch an agitation if its demand isn’t met. The CSF demands an apology and urges authorities to act as it has hurt not only Christian but also Jewish sentiments (Hosanna is a prayer for both communities).
Ekk Deewana Tha is a romantic drama written and directed by Gautham Menon, featuring Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles.
