After Madarasi, a few years ago Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu is back in Tamil with Thandavam. Directed by A L Vijay, the movie features Vikram, Anushka and Amy Jackson
in the lead role. Music is by G V Prakash.
Says Vijay, 'we were looking for another popular actor to play the second lead in the film. I’ve seen Jagapathi Babu’s films and I’ve always liked the way he carries his character forward'.
'He has an appealing personality and I though he would fit the bill. We approached him with the script and after listening to the narration, he agreed to be part of our project.'
The film, an action entertainer, will also be released in Telugu.
