Namitha, besides acting has started a construction company called Balaji Developers.
'I have always wanted to start a company of my own. It all started last year, when I thought of establishing my company in a big way. In fact, we have started constructing a few villas in Mumbai. It’s a different experience altogether and I’m enjoying the change', she says.
It’s not just villas that Namitha constructs. She also designs jewellery. Says she, 'That’s another hobby, I have. I love jewellery. So, whenever I get time, I design for myself or my family. But I don’t have any plans of starting a brand.'
However, the actress says that she has not quit films and that she will be back with good films.
'I can never leave the film industry. I have always loved watching and working in films. So, this business cannot take me away from my passion which is films. I’m presently working in quite a few Tamil films and most of them are heroine-oriented. I do a few action sequences in a few of them,' she says.
