“Perithium Perithu Kael” – the college debate show from Vijay TV
Vijay TV has been a pioneer in introducing many unique and lively talk shows that inspires youth to participate and exhibit their talent. The channel has had many talent shows encouraging the youth to exhibit their talent through song, dance and variety entertainment. Now, Vijay TV has launched its first college debate war “Perithinum Perithu Kael”; the search for the most progressive and forward thinking team from various colleges in Tamilnadu.
A statewide hunt for the most competent team comprising of 5 students each from various colleges of Tamilnadu. Two rival colleges will be pitted against each other on the show debating on a youth or society centric topics. The debate will be judged by a panel comprising of renowned speakers, poets, social workers and celebrities of various walks of life. The topics chosen would be identical with a thin line delineating them. After various levels of round in the debate show, finally four colleges will compete in the mega finale for the rolling trophy, scholarships and eternal pride.
The show will capture the attitude and passion that today’s youth have for the society and their eagerness to make things better. Watch as eternally rival colleges take on each other MOP vs Ethiraj; MCC vs Loyola, SRM vs KMC etc., The novel reality show ‘Perithum Perithu Kael’ airs every Saturday at 1800 hrs only on Vijay TV.
