7 Aum Arivu
A sci-fi thriler starring Suriya and Sruthi, the movie directed by A R Murugadoss is carrying huge hype. Ccinematographer Ravi K Chandran and music cocmposer Harris Jeyaraj form part of the team.
Suriya plays the role of a circus artiste and a Buddhist monk named Bodhi Dharma. Sruthi Haasan, elder daughter of Kamal Haasan, is making her debut in Tamil cinema with this film produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.
RA.One
RA.One, the Tamil version of Shah Rukh’s Bollywood movie, will also release in Tamilnadu during Deepavali. Produced by Gauri Khan for Shah Rukh-owned Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros International, the film is written and directed by Anubhav Sinha.
Velayudham
Produced by Aacar Ravichandran, directed by Jayam Raja, the movie has Vijay playing the role of an angry young man, who fights for a cause.
Queried about Velayudham, he says, 'It is a movie to reckon with in my career and it is no doubt a 'super hero' subject'.
