It was an auspicious Friday in Chennai and the shooting of Baba Sathya Sai, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna kicked off.
Among those who were present on the occasion included music composer Ilayaraja and Tamilnadu Governor K Rosaiah.
It is a film that is based on the life of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, who passed away recently. Ramakrishna had been to Puttaparthy and did intense research before commencing the project.
It would made in five languages including Tamil and Telugu.
This film will showcase the services done by Saibaba and his love for the people. Puttaparthy became world famous only due to Satyasai. A prominent actor is going to essay the role of Satyasai. We will announce the complete details of it soon', says the director.
