After Veyyil and Angadi Theru, director Vasntabalan has taken up a big task in Aravaan. It is a period film, set in 18th century and is inspired by a novel Kaval Kottan by Su Venkatesan.
Speaking about the movie, Vasantabalan, said, 'it took a long time for research on the project before commencing. hanks to my producer T Siva of Amma Creations, the movie went to floors. A great lover of cinema, he encouraged us to work hard and dont bother about the budget'.
'I always want to different films and Aravaan is one such attempt', he added.
The movie stars Aadhi, Pasupathy, Dhanshika in key roles with Bharath and Anjali doing a cameo.
Vasantabalan said, 'music by Karthik is a highlight and cinematography by Siddharth would add pep to it'.
