Actor Vanitha Vijayakumar, daughter of actor R Vijayakumar, has filed for divorce by mutual consent from her second husband Rajan Anand. The couple were present before principal family court.
According to the petition, Vanitha and Rajan were married on December 12, 2007 at a sub-registrar’s office at Secunderabad. Their daughter Jaynitha was born on May 27, 2009. Pointing out that Vanitha and Rajan were not able to live happily due to differences in temperament and attitude, the petition said efforts taken by family to reunite them were in vain. Since their relationship had broken down irretrievably, they decided to dissolve the marriage based on a mutual agreement, the petition said.
