Sona, who reached an amicable settlement with S P charan after verbal volleys, says, 'it was reported that I chose to come to a compromise with Charan without getting an apology. But itís untrue. I fought for 15 days with the help of the press and public and finally got a written apology issued by him, in which itís clearly stated and signed by him that he feels sorry for the incident and that we have come to a compromise without any financial transactions'.
'I donít think itís necessary to show the letter to the press, but if people blame me saying I took money to withdraw the case, I will definitely publish the letter.'
'Charan and I could have sorted out the issue had we discussed it. But, there were misunderstandings and miscommunication. We were not in the right frame of mind. Iíve learnt my lesson now. Itís not wise to have friends in the industry,' she says.
