It was reported recently that Huma Quereshi, who was supposed to play the ladylove to AJith in Billa 2 has backed out. Now the news is that she has been replaced by former beauty queen Parvathy Omanakuttan.
Apparently, Huma was initially signed to play the lead actress but the makers say that because of the delays of the start of the Goa schedule of the film, the actress decided to opt out of the Ajith-starrer due to date issues.
This movie will mark Parvathy’s debut in Kollywood. Billa 2, is a prequel to Ajith's earlietr hit Billa. It is being directed by Chakri Toleti. The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ajith will joining the crew at Goa where a major portion of the movie would be shot in the coming days.
