After Billa 2, Ajith will be doing the Tamil remake of recent Telugu film Dookudu. It is confirmed that A M Rathinam will produce this venture.
Sources say that a special screening of the movie was held in Chennai for Ajith. The actor, basking on Mankatha glory, was mightily impressed watching the movie. Also it is rumoured that jayam Raja, who is directing Vijay for Velayudham has been approached to do the film.
The Telugu version directed by Seenu Vytla is supposedly a racy affair. It has action, romance and humour at right mix. Ajit has been paid a huge sum of Rs 15 crore to do the project.
