After a negative role in Vandhan Vendran Nandha will be seen as a tough cop in Vellore Mavattam. The movie releases on 6 October.
Says Nandha, after this, I have another interesting project titled Thirupangal with director Sharada Ramanathan.
On Vellore Mavattam, he says, 'Simply put, it is a story that focusses on the fight between a sincere officer and a corrupt political system.'
Directed by R N R Manohar, the movie has Poorna playing his ladylove. Thirupangal, he says, is a thriller.
'The film is about child trafficking and Andrea plays the lead along with me. Director Sharada Ramanathan, who only saw a couple of sequences in Eeram, decided that I was the one for the lead role in this film. It is a challenging script and I am excited about being a part of it,' he adds.
