Lyricist Vairamuthu will appear on screen for Kizhakku Partha Veedu, directed by Balagurusamy. It features newcomers Prabha and Thamali. Appu Kutty, Thambi Ramiah and Meera Krishnan are also part of the cast.
Produced by Theni N Chinnamayan Films and Meera Creations, the film has cinematography by Sevalioraja and music by Maria Manohar. Besides appearing on screen, Vairamuthu will be penning the lyrics.
Speaking about the film, Balagurusamy says, ' it is based on a real life incident in Theni district about three decades ago.'
'Since I wanted a youth with a rustic look to play the lead, I chose Prabha from Vathalakundu. Thamali hails from Periyakulam', he adds.
Shooting is on at quick pace and the movie willl be released soon, he adds.
