Cheran - Prasanna starrer Muran has been censored. The Regional Censor officials have given a clean U certificate for the film.
The censor board members who saw the film appreciated the concept, making and performance. The film is likely to release on September 23.
Directed by Rajjan Madhav, the movie is supposedly a tale of two contrasting characters who come together for a cause.
Speaking about the film, Cheran says, ' I had immense faith in the script and the screenplay when I first heard this story from Rajan. He seems to know his craft very well even though he is a debutant.'
On sharing the screen with Prasanna, Cheran says, ' he is a talented actor and Muran will give him the big break'.
A road film with enough suspense and thrills, Muran is here to stay, he adds.
