Actor Vijay left for New Delhi today to take part in the fast being undertaken by anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare. SOurces close to Vijay said that he had expressed his solidarity for the cause for which Anna Hazare is undertaking fast.
Vijay took a flight To New delhi this morning to join the fast at Ram Lila Maidan. He will fast the whole day with Hazare and later return to Chennai in the evening.
It may be recalled that Tamil film industry had held a one-day fast in support of Hazare and Rajnikanth had written a letter expressing his solidarity to Hazare.
Anna Hazare has been fasting for over nine days seeking the government to introduce Jan Lokpal Bill.
