Avan Illai 2 fame Swetha Menon is back in Kollywood with critically acclaimed director Vasanthabalan's epic film Aravaan, which will reportedly grace theatres during Deepavali 2011.
The film has Aadhi, Pasupathy, Archana Kavi and Dhansika in the lead roles. Aravaan, set in the mid 18th century, is the story of an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent.
Aravaan is based on one of the many stories that were part of 'Kaavalkottam' (a collection of novels penned by Su. Venkatesan).
