As reported earlier, its all confirmed that Gautham Menon will direct Jiiva. This project was supposed to commence during the first week of August but the director’s health suffered a setback and therefore it had to be postponed.
The project will now go on floors on 29 August. Jiiva upon completing director's Shankar Nanban, will shift over to Gautham’s project.
Jiiva has said that he is excited to work with a director like Gautham Menon and is looking forward for the shoots to begin.
Jiiva is also awaiting the release of Vandhan Vendran, to be directed by Kannan. Tapasee plays his heroine in the film.
