Love brings a complete change, they say. Precisely this is the case of Nayanthara, who has converted from Christianity to Hinduism, apparently to enter wedlock with her boyfriend Prabhu Deva.
If sources are to be believed, Nayanthara reached Chennai from Kochi on a flight on Sunday morning, drove straight to Arya Samaj in North Chennai, and performed various rituals as part of her decision to become a Hindu.
‘After that, she was given a certificate by the officials there, declaring that she is a Hindu henceforth. A happy Nayanthara flew back to Kochi on the same evening itself. She didn’t meet Prabhudeva during this visit,’ sources say.
Prabhu Deva fell in love with Nayanthara when both worked together in Villu. Soon Prabhu Deva obtained a mutual consent divorce from his wife. Rumour mills have it that both are ready for wedding and a formal announcement is expected anytime.
