Producer and PRO Glamour Krishnamurthy passes away

Noted producer and PRO Glamour Krishnamurthy (74) passed away in Chennai on 9 August in the wee hours. He started his career as PRO with MGR starrer Nan Anaiittal. He is survived by his wife Gajalakshmi. He has two daughters and a son Glamour Sathya. His son-in-law is producer Vijay Muralee.
Krishnamurthy produced Manjal Mugamae Varuga, directed by V C Guhanathan. He had worked with the likes of MGR, Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan,Muthuraman, Ravichandran, Kamal Haasan, T Rajendher, Bhagiyaraj, sarath Kumar, Thiayagarajan, Mohan, Suresh and all. Among directors he worked with K Balachander, Rama Narayanan, Bharathiraja, Manivannan and S A Chandrasekhar.
He has ran a cinema magazine too. He is currently the honorary president of the FILM PRO UNION. His creamation would be held later today.
