Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to begin efforts to construct a hospital for the poor and the needy near Chennai. This has been confirmed by his elder brother Sathyanarayana Rao, in his interview to a Tamil weekly.
The top actor has been doing social service activities silently without any fanfare for the past many years. Now after he suffered ill-health and was back on recovery after a couple of month's treatment in Singapore, he intends to build a hospital with state-of-the-art facilities for the needy and the poor.
In an interview to a vernacular weekly, Rajnikanth's elder brother said that his brother has recovered well and he is all fit and fine.
He said the actor has reportedly bought a huge piece of land at Vandalur near Chennai where he proposes to construct a hospital for the poor and provide quality treatment to them at affordable cost.
