A total of 1008 fans of 'Super Star' Rajnikanth visited Palani Dhandayudhapani temple and tonsured their head as prayer to Almighty.
The fans of Rajnikanth prayed to Almighty that they would tonsure their head if their favourite hero returns from Singapore full recovered from renal problems. Since their prayers were fulfilled they chose to throng the temple on Tuesday and fulfil their prayers.
The members of the fans association said that it is an act to thank Almighty. He fulfilled our prayers. Thalaivar is back fit and fine. We hence shaved our head and offered our prayers to the God, he said.
Rajnikanth fell ill while he as shooting for Rana on 29 April. He was rushed to Isabel's Hospitals and then to SRMC Hospital. Then Rajnikanth was taken to Singapore where he was treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
