In a rare and laudable gesture, Sarath Kumar and his wife Radhika have a started a school of acting in Chennai, in association with Bollywood senior Anupam Kher. An announcement in this regard was made on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, Radhika said, ‘I was planning for a longtime to float such an institution to encourage budding acting talents. The dream is coming true now. We are extremely happy to be associated with Anupam ji.’
Sarath said, ‘Anupam Kher is a veteran in teaching acting nuances to you6ngsters. My daughter Varalakshmi acquired acting skills from him. I am sure that his experience would help aspiring actors in Chennai a lot.’
And finally, the centre of attraction at the event, Anupam Kher said ‘after 37 years I entered into filmdom, I’m glad to announce the launch of my acting school in Chennai. Contrary to what many think, acting can be taught and perfected.’
