Pantaloons Femina Miss India-International 2011, Ankita Shorey, is playing the lead in Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman’s latest music video, titled, Baari Hamaari Hai.
According to reports, the video, which features Rahman in a funky new avatar has Ankita playing an uber talented modern and trendy girl. 'I am so happy to team up with a maestro like Rahman,' says the beauty queen with a big smile.
Throwing light on the video, she says, 'I had a great fun doing all sort of activities. I performed Bharatanatyam and played volley ball. I did river rafting and wore traditional attire. All in one video. I am thrilled.'
Heaping laurels on Rahman, she says, 'He is so humble and down to earth. I was amazed with his simplicity on the sets while shooting for the song. Someone who won the Oscars behaving like this is just unbelievable. Hats off to him.'
