Kushboo developed a fracture on her leg when she was shooting for a Malayalam film titled Mr Marumagan in Kochi on Friday.
According to sources in the know, the actress was climbing down a staircase when she slipped and fell down all of a sudden. She was immediately rushed to a hospital nearby.
'After giving first aid to her, doctors thoroughly examined her left leg and found a fracture in it. She was asked to be on rest for a couple of weeks,' sources say.
Shooting was cancelled after the mishap. Mr Marumagan, a Dileep starring film, has Kushboo playing a pivotal role.
