Radhika Sarathkumar has supported Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s decision not to attend any felicitation function as proposed by the captains of film industry who met her in person recently.
‘It is a very good decision. The Chief Minister has a lot of commitments and works to do. Hence he has refused a request from the industry to host a felicitation ceremony. There is nothing wrong in it,’ says the actress-producer.
A pillar of support to her husband Sarath Kumar, who is the president of South Indian Film Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) and All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, Radhika is elated about his success in the recently concluded Assembly elections.
‘He is so hard working and is ready to go to any extent to serve the people. I am happy that such persons have been elected to the Assembly this time. I am sure that Sarath would earn good name as a people’s representative,’ she says.
