‘I may be Vijay’s father and his mentor when it comes to cinema. But he is my leader as far as politics is concerned. He takes all decisions regard Makkal Iyakkam and I just do what he wants me to,’ says the actor’s dad and popular director S A Chandrasekar.
‘Vijay is completely aware of all important things- from local politics to international issues,’ SAC says and adds: ‘He wants his fans, who are now the members of Makkal Iyakkam, to occupy top positions in public life.’
When asked as to when Vijay would enter into politics, the ace director says, ‘His priority now is acting in films. Till the next five years, he would do two movies a year. Only then a decision will be taken on his political entry.’
Expressing gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu for giving a massive victory to the AIADMK led by Jayalalithaa in the recently concluded Assembly elections, SAC says, ‘It’s a revolution. Amma is keen at doing various good things.’
