The Gurgaon police on Saturday served notice to Nila aka Meera Chopra in a death case. Meera allegedly had an affair with prime accused Sumit Bhattan, the victim Ruchi's husband. Ruchi was found dead in her DLF City house on Tuesday
While the victim Ruchi’s in-laws claimed it was suicide, her relatives suspected foul play and blamed her husband Sumit Bhuttan. Apparently, Sumit has an extramarital relationship with Meera Chopra and this illegal relationship had disturbed Ruchi.
While Sumit was booked, Gurgaon police is in search of Meera Chopra and have reportedly registered a case against her under Section 120B of the IPC. Ruchi’s relatives claim that she was murdered on account of harassment at the hands of her husband.
After Shefali, the sister of the deceased wife from Gurgaon, Haryana lodged a complaint with the police alleging that it was the ‘illicit’ relationship her brother-in-law Sumit was having with Nila which resulted in the death of her younger sister Ruchi, the police has swung into action.
