Ace film director Mani Ratnam and actor Vivek Oberoi jointly met the Congress Leader 'Rahul Gandhi' and spoke about the charitable project that is based out of Chennai
Rahul Gandhi was happy to know that the busiest film maker Mani Ratnam has found time to get involved in humanitarian projects.
Rahul Gandhi gave a patient hearing to the director and actor and was excited to know about his helping nature for the poor. Rahul has been an icon of youth inspiring many celebrities of Kollywood like Rama Narayanan, Radha Ravi, Ilayalthalapathi Vijay, S.Ve Sekhar, Revathi and Nasser met him personally when he paid a visit to Chennai. Of all the said celebs, actor S.Ve Sekhar even joined the Congress party last week.
It was also rumoured that Vijay might join Congress party but the resutls are yet to be known.
