The Chennai High Court has ordered that a case of forgery and fabrication of property documents be filed against Rajkumar, husband of actress Sripriya and brother of actress Latha. The Court’s ruling follows a complaint filed by Ranjan of Kovalam (off Chennai) against Rajkumar.
Ranjan has said in his complaint that his father Arjunan owned 61 cents of land at Padur near Kancheepuram. When Arjunan wanted to lay fence around the land, it came to his knowledge that Rajkumar Sethupathy of Alwarpet, Chennai had ‘illegally’ occupied his lands. When it was enquired with the Registration Department, they were told that Arjunan had ‘actually’ given the land to Rajkumar.
Alleging that Rajkumar Sethupathy and six others had committed fraud and prepared fabricated documents and affixed his father’s signature thereby committing forgery, Ranjan said that complaints with the S.P.’s office at Kancheepuram didn’t yield any action in his favour and sought the Court’s intervention in the matter.
Justice Mr. Kannan, who took up the case, ordered the police to file cases of forgery and fabrication of documents against Rajkumar Sethupathy and six others.
